How to Style and Wear Your Sweaters this Fall Season
It’s officially fall season!
If we are going by fall 2022 fashion trends, it’s clear that sweaters are the way to go right now. But it’s one thing to own a sweater and another to know how to style them over the next few months. In this article, I discuss how you can style three types of sweaters this fall season.
Oversize Sweater
Oversize sweaters are usually worn over pants or jeans but you can opt to switch it up once in a while, and pair them with a nice mini skirt.
Although the weather is getting chilly, you can wear oversized sweaters with mini skirts on the fall days that aren’t quite as cold. However, if you live in a colder region, you can consider pairing these sweaters with a midi flowy skirt. You can also wear them with a pantyhose and long trench coat. Plus, accessorize this outfit by throwing on a baseball hat.
2. A Knit Vest
A knit vest is perfect for this fall season because you can wear it in multiple weather conditions why looking good.
In the fall season, you can wear it as the main top or have an inner layer like I did. It keeps you warm without having to wear multiple layers which is a good win. This outfit is good for work day inspiration. The outfit can be dressed down by wearing sneakers or elevated by adding a hat. In colder weathers, a trench coat can be added on top for extra warmth. It can also be accessorized by adding a light scarf around your neck.
3. A Turtleneck Sweatshirt
A turtleneck sweatshirt is a perfect fall wardrobe staple because it can be used in multiple wears. It can be paired with pants, jeans, skirts, and dresses.
Although it is officially fall season, you can still make use of some of your summer outfits. And one way to do that is by wearing your sweatshirt as a layer over a dress or wearing outerwear on top of the sweatshirt. In colder regions, an outerwear coat can be worn, and the booties can be switched to knee-high length boots. This outfit is great for a dinner event or outing.
